Who are we?

All physios at RPC have a first aid at work qualification and are required by the HPC to update their skills regularly with a rigorous process of continuing professional development, including attending seminars and courses and analysing treatment effectiveness.

Physiotherapist (MCSP, HCPC, MAACP)

After qualifying as a Physio, Fran worked for several years in the NHS before moving into private practice, and is a founding partner in ringwood Physiotherapy centre. She has many years experience in treating all types of musculoskeletal conditions from sports injuries to whiplash, and has a special interest in the treatment of hands and feet. She is keen to treat people holistically, and although being very much a ‘hands on’ Physio, will also give advice, exercisies and preventative advice to help prevent future recurrences of injuries.

She enjoys mojive dancing as a fun way to keep active, and has a keen interest in computers and all forms of technology.

Physiotherapist (MCSP, HCPC, MAACP)

Dutch by birth, Rianne worked a decade in The Netherlands and Switzerland before moving to England in 1999, joining the Ringwood team in 2001.

She has worked the best part of two decades in the private sector treating patients with a wide spectrum of musculoskeletal ailments, spinal problems, sports injuries and whiplash related injuries.

In her spare time she is an active badminton player, loves to walk with her little Jack Russell called Harley and riding her Harley Davidson together with her husband.

Foot care specialist

Ginny’s interest in feet started as a challenge to overcome her dislike of them! Ginny started her career training in 2001 at Totton College and went on to obtain a Diploma in Foot Health with the Open College of Foot Health Professionals (the SMAE Institute) in Maidenhead.

Ginny has been associated with Ringwood Physiotherapy Centre since 2005 offering specialist foot care advice and treatment for feet suffering from corns, callus, troublesome nails and cracked heels – finishing each treatment with a relaxing foot massage.

Remedial massage therapist

Eileen is a fully trained and qualified Remedial Massage Therapist with over 10 years experience working with Ringwood Physiotherapy Centre. She uses her training and skills to help people in all situations enjoy a richer and healthier life. Eileen can also offer Ultra sound treatment for injuries, Indian head massage and Hopi ear candle treatment.

Once considered an alternative treatment for sports injuries, remedial massage has now proved itself to be beneficial for all types of complaints and conditions from muscular injuries to headaches and stress. With today’s fast pace of living more and more people are suffering with feelings of depression, exhaustion and fatigue. Massage can help relieve these day to day problems.
